Contenuto del corso:
Course contents:		 Analisi del discorso e traduzione. Il corso prenderà in esame, da un punto di vista sia teorico che pratico varie modalità di articolazione del discorso in ambito umanistico e linguistico-specialistico, con riferimento anche alla teoria della traduzione e ai problemi di traduzione di un testo saggistico sull?argomento che sarà oggetto di esercitazioni pratiche. The course will address the theory and practice of speech in humanities, but also in linguistic point of view, looking at the theory and practice of translation. Some pages of an essay will be translated during the course.
"La rhétorique dans l'argumentation: mondialisation et traduction". After a necessary introduction to the history of rhetoric and argumentation, the course will examine an essay on the theme of "mondialisation" and another on the theme of "traduction" using them as an observation point and for tracing the phenomena in question. They will also be used as an exercise of translation into Italian of the essay genre on topics of current interest, both from an historical and theoretical viewpoint and for the comparison with the "strange/unknown" that every translation involves, as well as the cultural and practical aspects, for the differences between the northern and southern hemispheres and the consequent social implications.

The exam will assess linguistic skills: written report; translation from Italian into French; oral presentation. The themes of the course will be tested and the ability to translate from French.
