Obiettivi formativi:
Educational goals:
Module B expands on the theoretical and practical insights provided in module A through references to Shakespeare's tragedies and to "Hamlet" in particular.
Contenuto del corso:
Course contents:
A follow up to module A, module B engages the issues of time and of death in Early Modern England as highglighted in "Hamlet". "Hamlet" will be discussed through a close reading of selected scenes and with reference to some of the sonnets considered in module A, as well as to other tragedies by Shakespeare.
