Evasioni: Autorità e cultura dell'intrattenimento nell'Ottocento britannico. Il corso si propone di indagare le dinamiche dell'industria culturale nell'Ottocento, evidenziandone i capisaldi concettuali e le modalità produttive, e delineando la tensione insita nella sua logica di 'intrattenimento'.
"Escapes: Authority and the Culture of Entertainment in 19th-century Britain". The course addresses the culture industry in the nineteenth century, highlighting the conceptual foundations and modes of production, and showing the inherent tension in its rationale of 'entertainment'. |
