Contenuto del corso:
Course contents:
World Englishes. Il corso, che fa corpo con il modulo 1B (cod. 3420), si prefigge di illustrare i tratti fondamentali delle principali varietà diatopiche dell'inglese contemporaneo, sul piano sintattico, fonetico e lessicale. Lo studio dei tratti esaminati sarà condotto con l'ausilio di testi autentici scritti e parlati.
World Englishes. The course forms a single exam with English Language II 1 B (code 3420). It illustrates the main syntactic, lexical and phonetic features of the different geographical variations of contemporary English. For this purpose, authentic spoken and written texts will be employed.

Per sostenere l?esame di questo modulo è indispensabile avere maturato i 10 cfu di Lingua inglese I, superando le varie parti del relativo esame. Gli studenti in possesso di certificazioni esterne sono invitati a chiederne il riconoscimento alla Segreteria studenti; il relativo credito formativo esonera l?interessato dalla prima parte dello scritto ma non dalla traduzione, e dal colloquio sugli articoli ma non dalla verifica sul corso ufficiale.
This exam can be taken only by students who have earned the 10 credits of English Language I, passing all parts of the exam. Students with external certification should apply to the Segreteria studenti for recognition; this exonerates the holder from the first part of the written component but not from the translation, and from the first part of the oral component but not from the interview on the "World Englishes" textbook.
