Contenuto del corso:
Course contents:
An overview of the main events of German history from 1945 to 1990 is the basis for the analysis of literary, journalistic, cinematographic testimonials during the period of the division of Germany, the culmination of which was the construction of the Berlin Wall, and the end of which was German reunification (1990). Social, linguistic and cultural transformations which came about with the fall of the Wall and are still going on within the united German nation are particularly emphasized.
