Il mercato, il prodotto e il sistema turistico. La quantificazione del fenomeno turistico (elementi di statistiche del turismo). La domanda turistica e il comportamento del consumatore. Le variabili che influenzano la domanda. Le caratteristiche e le condizioni operative dell'offerta, con particolare riguardo a quella alberghiera. L'organizzazione turistica italiana. La destinazione turistica. L'impatto economico del turismo. L'industria turistica: i soggetti e i fattori di attrazione. Le prospettive future del settore.
