Conoscenza delle principali caratteristiche del tedesco scientifico e dei principali generi testuali con particolare riferimento alla comunicazione in contesti accademico. Capacità di analizzare testi scientifici, anche confrontandoli con testi analoghi e paralleli (traduzioni). Competenza strumentale della lingua: Quadro di riferimento Europeo: livello C1 + (scrittura e produzione orale) C2 (comprensione orale e scritta)
Knowledge of the main characteristics of academic German and of genres belonging to scientific communication. Ability to analyse academic texts in German and to compare them to similar and parallel texts (translations). Practical competences (European Frameworrk of Reference) C1 + (writing and speaking) / C2 (oral and written comprehension)

Contenuto del corso:
Course contents:

I principali generi testuali e convenzioni di scrittura accademica. Tratti caratterizzanti del tedesco quale lingua veicolare nell'insegnamento accademico e nella diffusione e pubblicazione dei risultati di ricerca. Aspetti testuali lessicali e pragmatici correlati alla sfera della allgemeinen Wissenschaftssprache. Scrittura accademica vs. scrittura divulgativa. La discussione di questi argomenti verrà affiancata dall'analisi di testi paralleli in lingua tedesca, e laddove possibile, dal confronto tra teso e traduzione.
Genres of academic writing and Genre conventions. Main characteristics of German used in academic and scientific settings. Textual, lexical and pragmatic features related to ordinary scientific language. Academic writing and popularization of research. Considerations on these topics will be integrated by the analysis of parallel texts in German and, as far as possible, by the comparison of text and translation.
