Il corso si propone di fornire un adeguato inquadramento storico-culturale relativo alla letteratura francese del XX secolo, con particolare riferimento al romanzo breve e alla poesia.
The course aims to set twentieth century French literature, with particular reference to the short novel and poetry, against an appropriate historical-cultural background.

Padri, figli e figliastri: André Gide e Yves Bonnefoy.
Verrà proposto un itinerario conoscitivo sulla narrativa d'inizio novecento e sulla poesia francese contemporanea attraverso lo studio di due opere esemplari nelle quali la relazione tra padre e figlio/a (figliastro/a) assume un ruolo centrale, ciò allo scopo d'indagarne le implicazioni psicanalitiche, come le dinamiche affettive e inconsce, e la poetica simbolica che ne consegue. Saranno inoltre forniti primi rudimenti propedeutici relativi alla traduzione poetica.
Fathers, sons and stepchildren: André Gide and Yves Bonnefoy. An itinerary is offered on the narrative of the early nineteen hundreds and French contemporary poetry with the study of two exemplary works in which the relationships between father and son/daughter (stepson/stepdaughter) take on a central role in the investigation of psychoanalytical implications, such as emtional and unconscious dynamics, and the resulting symbolic poetics. Furthermore, the first introductory rudiments to the translation of poetry will be provided.
